1 Kg of mellow yellow pears
1 Kg of sugar
2 cups of water
Method of Preparation
Wash and peel the pears. Slice them into long slices and remove the seeds.
Put them in cold water with lemon juice to preserve their color and until peeling is done.
Dissolve the sugar in water and boil for 10 minutes. Then, add the pealed pears and keep them over medium heat for about half an hour.
Store them in jars and leave them to cool before closing the jars tightly.
