Namoura With Yogurt


420g Semolina

235g Yogurt

3g Baking powder

112g Ghee 

155g Sugar

1 tsp Orange Blossom Water

1 tsp Rose Water

10g Walnuts

5g Tahina



500g Sugar

250g Water


Method Of Preparation

In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water and sugar to boil.

Add the clove.

Turn the heat to low and stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, add semolina, yogurt, baking powder, ghee, sugar, rose water and orange blossom water.

Mix well and leave aside to rest for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 190C and let it bake 20-30 min or until golden.

Remove from the oven and add the walnuts.

Let it bake again for 10 min.

Remove from the oven and pour syrup on top.
