Pink Rice

Pink Rice


500g Rice

10g Fresh Ginger

50g Celery Roots

200g Fresh Beetroot

One cup of Fresh Orange Juice

1 Egg

20g Balsamic Vinegar

40g Olive Oil

700g Water



Method Of Preparation

Place the beetroot, the ginger and the orange juice in a Blender for a few minutes.

In the meanwhile heat some olive oil in a steaming pan.

Add the celery roots and the rice and stir them together.

Gently incorporate the beetraoot mixture to the rice.

Simmer with hot water and a sprinkle of salt.

Some Balsamic Vinegar will add the perfect taste.

Leave it to cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

In the meantime fry an egg.

Serve the cooked rice in a plate and place the fried egg on top for decoration.
